KinMate is a Personal Record Manager and Family Information Organizer for keeping health documents, care reminders, and personal records in one private place. KinMate is NOT a medical service, telehealth platform, diagnostic tool, treatment provider, or insurance product. It does not perform medical monitoring.
AI explanations help you understand health documents. They are educational only, not medical advice. Always confirm with a licensed clinician before making any health decision. You are responsible for how you use the information; KinMate is not liable for medical outcomes.
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and able to form a binding agreement to use KinMate.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your email, for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
You own the documents and personal records you add. You grant KinMate only the limited rights needed to operate the features you turn on — for example, storing structured data in your account for cross-device sync or family sharing, or sending a document through our proxy to an AI provider when you request an explanation. If you enable Bring Your Own Cloud, backups are stored in your own cloud account and are your responsibility.
Paid plans are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions or, where offered, as one-time purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play. A free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your store account; refunds follow the platform's policy. The Family 8 lifetime founder offer, when available, is a one-time purchase that remains valid for the original purchaser; we honor it after the promotional window ends.
Referral rewards are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, capped per account, and subject to anti-abuse review. We may withhold or revoke rewards obtained through fraud or abuse.
Do not use KinMate for unlawful purposes; do not upload content you have no right to; do not attempt to breach security or interfere with the service; do not abuse the referral or AI systems.
You may delete your account at any time inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
KinMate is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KinMate and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
